Here it is, my first ever tank I had, and the reason why I joined AC 3 1/2 months ago: In the spring of 2007, I had a pond in my back yard with frogs and tadpoles. But then I noticed that mosquitos had begun to lay eggs in there, so I went out and bought 5 comet goldfish thinking that they would eat them, and they did. But in mid-January, the pond had frozen over to a depth of about 3 inches of swimmable water. So I brought the only ones I could find inside with a 10 gallon tank that had the 2 comet goldfish. (I know, overcramped.) But when they moved out to the pond again a month ago, I had decided to turn it to a tropical tank.

Here is what the tank looked like when I first set it up:

Here is how it looked like on Friday:

And here it is currently after a trip to the LFS and $20.:grinyes: Currently with 2 African Dwarf Frogs, 1 Dwarf Gourami, 6 Neon Tetras, 2 Kuhli Loaches, and about 10 Ghost Shrimp.

PS... get a background... black really makes the plants and fish show nicely.

Nice Tank!

Thanks everyone.

I have been meaning to get a background, I'll probably get one of those cheap plastic ones that go on the outside of the aquarium. There's no room for a 3D background inside.

I am also thinkng of getting an anubias and tie onto the piece of wood on the left. What kind should I get?
