Strawbwerry Peacock

Need info on a strawberry peacock. I know it is a hybrid but any pics or info would be appreciated.

I don't have pics to hand, but these are also referred to as German Reds or Sunburst Peacocks. There is also a Jacobfreiberg variant developed by the same people again called a German Red or a Eureka. I've kept both the Jacob and the Aulonocara and found them to be a more aggressive peacock than their natural occcuring cousins. I presume the intensive breeding for colour begets extra aggression in the stock.

Otherwise husbandry is as per peacocks generally.

Highly attractive fish - good luck with him.
