Hi All. I am going to be upgrading my tank to a 75g soon and want to stock it with cichlids. I'm looking at getting some yellow labs, but I would like to know what other fish would mix well with them. I would like to get a few more varieties of cichilds if possible as well as some other species to mix it up a little. Thanks for any advice in advance.

i have a red finned borlyei and tiger barbs with mine, they aren't very aggressive for chiclids so u have quite a selection to choose from, remember they only grow to 2-3 inches so don't get anything too big
oh, no bricadi though, those will tear up any fish, especially when breeding, which they do prolifically.

If you want yellow labs, better stick with other mbunas if you want to keep other fish.

get the labs first, as they are the least territorial, then you could get any number of other mbuna fish. I mix up the whole continent in my tank (see signature) and they all get along fine. I agree with noob13, that Zebs are cool fish. You could get blue, red and albino, to mix up the color. Another great Malawi cichlid is the Electric Blue Johanni, which are beautiful, readily available and pretty cheap (just like yellow labs). Alonocara cichlids are great too (jacobfrebergei etc.)
You could also get a couple of Frontosa (they get humongous, so be mindful of that)
