Welcome to the October 2008 Photo Of The Month competition.

Voting is now open to everybody, one vote only per person.

There will be a limited 14 days voting period, followed by the selection of a winner with the highest number of votes from AquariaCentral.com . If in the instance of more than one winner is selected (same number of votes), a secondary 7 days voting would be held to determine the winner.

The winner of the previous months POTM contest will not be eligible to enter another Photo of the Month Contest for the next three months, and win the prize for 12 months, to ensure fairness and opportunity for other participants to win.

What a tough dcision, there are so many great shots this month, but I could not resist voting for #4!

All great pictures!! #18 really touched me in how the fish was captured in it's concern over death of another.

wow those are all great pictures. super nice disus pics also. Not too many fry pics this month, a lot of pairs though. =) goodluck to everyone
