I have a java fern which has a baby plant on it. To be more specific...ALOT of baby plants and my cousin has a fishbowl which he is using to house his betta for the time being.

So, since the java fern thrives in low light, do you think it could possibly survive in his bowl for the next 2 weeks until he moves and is able to set up his 10 gallon again?:help:

EDIT - forgot about placement! He would have it near a window.

I wouldn't pull them off until they are about 1" or drop on their own. Otherwise, as long as the bowl gets some light (daylight etc.) they should be fine short-term.
