Today I received my new HOT Magnum Canister Filter. I installed it following the directions; but have noticed when the filter is running its super noisy. I hear water swishing back and forth in the canster and a very annoying rattling noise. I get paranoid when hearing the water swishing noise in teh canister as if it will spill out of the filter. Have this happened to anyone? Or have a reason why this may be happening?

Mine did this at first, but I didn't add enough water and I forgot the blue diverter thingy for on top of the media basket/micron cartridge. I don't use this filter anymore, but I do remember that you have to fill the canister until it is almost pouring out on your floor. Thats part of the reason for me retiring the filter, I have Piranhas, so that happening weekly in order to maintain my filter was getting hectic. Back to a typical HOB for me!!
