Thank you. I will pm Coral Keeper if I still want them. I may have been convinced to keep White Clouds and Rosy Reds in my trapdoor snail tub outside. I'm going to have to think about this a little more. I had no idea I had so many choices. I thought it was koi, goldfish or Gambusia. My tub is only 40 gallons so that rules out koi or goldfish. I liked the fact Gambusia were livebearers and maybe I can sell off some of the babies but I was also told White Clouds breed pretty easily, too. Sorry if I led everyone on a wild goose chase. I'm going to have to think about my other options now.

Will the Rosy Reds eat my common pond snails? I doubt they can mess with the the trapdoors but I wonder about the common pond snails. I think I have decided on 5 White Clouds and 5 Rosy Reds. The tub I have is a 40 gallon, moderately planted with Anacharis and Hornwort with a couple of Water Hyacinth floating (but looks like it's branching off to make more). Does this sound okay to you more experienced fish keepers?

Go to your LFS and buy some feeder guppies!
They are extremely cheap and are prettier than Gambusia, but every inch as hardy.

Can guppies go in an outside tub in temps as low as 40 degrees? And will Rosy Reds eat my common pond snails?
