I have a 75 gallon reef tank and have just set-up a 30 gallon SW for FOWLR. I bought the custom built stand used and spent a lot of time restaining it, bought new handles for the doors, etc. It was real beat-up when I bought it, very light in color and scratched. I purchased a new tank as the one that came with the stand was covered in scratches.
There are two damsels (3 striped & domino), 5 hermits, and 5 snails to get the cycle going. This was recommended to me by my LFS whom I trust whole-heartedly as they've been a huge help in creating my beautiful 75 gallon......this is what it looks like right now (not much for now since I just set it up a week and a half ago, I'll be building this one slowly once the cycle is complete, no rush).... one photo is of the tank prior to restaining, as you can see it was pretty bland.....the other photo is the start of the staining process.
