test strips

wow were you guys right about test strips being innaccurate, i am wating for my new test kit to come in on friday, so i bought some strips to give me some idea about what is going on on the sw tank i am setting up. I tested all my fresh water tanks, and the show like 120ppm nitrates, which is way more the the readings i was getting before i ran out of my liquid test, i was getting less then 20 andless the 10 in my medium planted tank. Anyway just wanted to let anyone else thinkin of gettin test strips not to bother, not worth the money even if they are temporary

definatly but i ran out of lquid and am cycling a 20 gallon salt tank and wanted some idea of what is going on for the week until i get my new liquid test, the nitrate is way way off but the nitrite seems accurate
