It's been hectic here and I haven't done much toward getting the 75 gallon set up lately. But yesterday it rained again and since I couldn't get out in the garden I began work on the mosaic.
I am applying the tiles on picture glass panels and then will attach the panels to the bottom and back wall of the tank. I got silicon caulk with no additives and spread a bead on the glass, then smear it to an even layer and set the tiles onto that. I finished about 1/3 of the back. The sun is out today, so I should garden tonight, but I may start on the 1st bottom panel.
I have a trip coming up, so I won't be filling the tank at least until mid-june. But having a start on the tiling is whetting my appetite to get it finished.
