I saw an Eclipse 12 gallon whole set up for $30, locally. Is that a good deal? It had a receipt from the previous owner and it was like $25 for some reasons... It seems in really good shape. I don't think there's filter media though.
 
I'd say it's a good deal since one of those new in stores is like $100.
 
I think I'll stop over there tomorrow. I wonder how much I could get resale. I have a lot of small tanks...
 
I would definitely take it for 25 dollars.

They are a nice-looking tank. Light isn't much but it should grow java moss and hornwort OK. I'd probably skip the filter, tho, and go with a corner sponge filter. I was given a 5 with a blown pump, I did that and gave it to the neighbor kid.

I probably wouldnt pay 30 for it, maybe 20 unless it is MINT, no limescale or scratches.

Otherwise it's just a 12 Gallon storage container with a light...
