Hey guys. I ordered the Flourish Fundamentals kit today from Dr. Foster and Smith. I'm wanting to get my live plants (Anacharis, Hornwort, and Wisteria), mainly the Wisteria, to grow better. So I was told to get this. Will this help the growth of my Wisteria? I have a 55g tank with a 130 watt CFL. I'm not wanting to do Co2 if I don't have to.

I also have a lot of dark green, wavy looking algae forming on my driftwood and on my filter intakes. I cleaned the filters today but not the driftwood. Will any of these Flourish bottles help? I have been reading of the FLourish Excel helping in killing the algae. Any info on using this stuff would be appreciated because this is the first time I've ever used ferts.

My LFS told me they didn't have any ferts, but gave me a bottle of Jungle Plant Saver today. I didn't think it was what I really needed, so that's why I went with the Flourish. Thanks!

I ordered both of the Flourish kits (Fundamentals and Enhancer) and I dose per the directions on each of the bottles minus the nitrogen (dont seem to need it) I have a 37 gallon with 48 watts of t-5 HO lighting and here are 2 pictures showing the difference in growth. The pen is put in there for perspective. The plants were purchased on the same day with the top picture being in my 55g with no dosing of anything and the second is the 37g. The plant I am trying to direct you attention to is in the center of the 37g. The other difference would be regular gravel in the 55g and eco-complete in the 37g

If you're using Flourish Excel you won't need to inject co2 since you're just adding a different source of carbon for the plants. IMO you should see a boost in plant health/growth with that regimen.
