I got a nice surprise when I purchased a chunk of cheato from my LFS last night. I saw a small brittle star moving through it. I have the cheato in my tank in a breeder net to keep the tang away from it. I will be putting in some live sand, live rubble and the cheato in later today. Hopefully, all goes well.

The micro star should multiple nicely. You can even place a couple in your main tank to start a large colony. They are awesome cleanup crew members. And cute!

I hope so! Plus my mandarin won't have to rely on pellets when I get my copepods going.

I had a salt tank back in the mid-eighties but have kept freshwater ever since. I'm so glad I got back into the salt side of things. With all the inverts, live rock and better equipment, it's a blast.
