Heaters won't deliver the required heat

I have two 150 watt Aqueon submersible heaters neither can be set to deliver accurate temperatures . I use one in a 37 gallon tank and I have it turned up all the way and it won't raise the temperature in the tank above 85 degrees! Ordinarily this would not be a problem, however I am treating the tank for Ich and would like to get the temperature up to 87 degrees. Should I be using a 200 watt heater? Or are there better brands out there?

you should always have a back up heater, when i got my 400L juwel it came with the heater, but it wouldn't raise the temp above 25 degrees! but i bought a tetratec heater before that, so i put that one in and took the other out, within an hour the temp was exactly how i wanted it.

Ordinarily I have an extra heater available. I have three heaters, but they are all currently in use. One is on my quarantine tank with fish. The second is on a five gallon bucket with sensitive plants shipped just before my main tank came down with ich and the third is on the main tank.
I just, moved a piece of driftwood further away from the heater, hoping that added water circulation around the heater would cause the water temperature to rise. If not I may move the heater into the highest current temporarily. Last resort I will by another heater.

i have a 200 watt on my 29. i try to go one step up on heaters/filters.

although on my 55, i might have to get 2 200 watt submersibles.
