First off both of these organisms are too small to photograph successfully so I will try to describe in full.

#1 unknown
This organism is about 1/8 inch long and runs around on the bottom of the tank and the live rock. It is white/clear. It has large antennae or feelers in the front and appears to have multiple sets of legs. It comes out mostly in the evening when I am doing half light with my actinic blues. The few times it stops running it will ball up its tail under itself briefly which reminds me of a freshwater shrimp. It is too small to tell if it is cleaning it's legs or this is just normal behavior.

#2
This appears at first to be a bit of string that lives in/on the live rock. It is also about 1/8 of an inch long. I was at first tempted to write it off as debris of some sort but it does appear to be alive. It's base area (attached to LR) looks orange and the tendril that it sticks out is off white. It seems to periodically stretch out to about 1/4 inch wave around for awhile and then retract back to 1/8 of an inch.

So, any guesses?

<<Sounds like a spaghetti worm>>

Try google imaging my guess, see if they are what you have ...

RS you are the fastest person to reply I have ever seen! :)

The first thing I found that looked like my little buggers are amphipods. Copepods put me in the right neighborhood though. It still could be a Copepod but there are so many types it's hard to tell.

The second thing doesn't appear to have laid down any thread that look like the photos of spaghetti worms I have seen (so far) so I guess I will wait and see what it turns into.

Thanks again RS! Remarkable guesses based on my poor descriptions!
