This is the first time I posted pictures of my tank online, please tell me what you think of it.

Pictures were taken from my iPhone, so sorry for some of the blurriness. Some new things were added to the tank recently, can post more pictures if people are into it.

very nice tank, but siriously overstocked with fish. 65g tank is not a good size for those tangs, I think. I do love picture #5, lots of color and I like the way everything is placed in a tank.

I understand the story behind the tangs, eventually when they get too big I will be selling them off. I really enjoy buying tangs small, and growing them up for a little bit, they really have a good life in my tank, every one of them are extremely obese.(which are a good thing)

they are probably obese cause they dont have enough room to swim it off (which is not a good thing)

Beautiful fish! Tank looks good too, I'd suggest upgrading to a bigger tank though.

Good stuff. Leave the guy alone about a bigger tank! It's not so easy to just go out and get a totally new big system...he said he will sell them when they get big...what do you not get about that? Tang police...jeez.

What type of flow rate do those maxijet mods provide?

In pic#1 both are un-modified, in pic #3 the left is modified, and in pic #5 both are modified, which was the preferred (or current) configuration?

When I decided to transfer over to SPS tank I decided that I needed better flow, for both my corals and my fish. I saw these maxijet mods and liked them. They are both hooked up to a natural wavemaker, so each burst at about an interval of 15 seconds. The one on the left is a 600, (used to be a 1200, but too much flow so close to the corals.) The one on the right is a 1200, blowing through all my SPS corals. The new mods make a much bigger stream of water than the unmoded ones. If you don't mind that they are kinda bulky, they are great modifications for maxijets, and I'm really happy with them. Also nice because you can hook it up to a wavemaker, like I have done.

Lets leave the comments about over stocking out of this, and not make it personal. The point has been made and does not need to be made over and over again....

Thanks

Wit overstocking...I use a euroreef RS-80 protein skimmer that sucks up any excess waste, along with a 9 watt UV sterilizer, with a 10 gallon water change every sunday. All fish are parasite free and very active. Also have a serpent star, red footed conch and about 20 nassarius snails for detritus removal. Nitrates are at 5, but coral growth is great and my clam seems to like it. Trying to take more pictures... Query, I have a GBTA that likes to stay in the dark, mouth not open, tentacles stay inflated, clowns love it, is this weird to anybody else or it is just me?

Very pretty corals. I am surprised I didn't comment on this thread earlier since I love zoas and you have some awesome ones.

I love the rock that looks like two pipes going from the left to the back middle of the tank. Those are really nice.
