I have three eureka red peacocks and two have big bellys full of eggs. I currently have the male in the other tank. I have never breed fish before and just wanted to know if the female will drop her eggs if the male is not present? Or does the female just hold the eggs until a male is present? Please help me out. Thanks!

Our single Peacock will carry unfertilized eggs for a few weeks before either eating them or spitting them out..........:)
