I'm looking at upgrading to a larger tank and I'm unsure what brands are out there. The tank I'm running now was purchased used from CraigsList and I'm not sure what it is.

I know Oceanic is a good brand but its a bit pricey. I'm looking to get something in the 120g range... reef ready. Any brand suggestions?

The common ones are All-glas which is now known as Aquaeon and Perfecto. Available at most pet stores and a few discount stores.

Try to stay with the well-known brands due to parts availability and standardized sizing. Some imports may be cheaper but parts are a nightmare.

The only ones I have used are Oceanic and All Glass. I have heard they are owned by the same parent company and that Oceanic just uses a bit thicker glass. Anyway, I like Oceanic and have had good results. I think All Glass is fine as well but for a larger tank I would feel better with Oceanic. Just my .02

I am Sold on GlassCages tanks! They are built like Battlships! The (2) 90 Gal. tanks I own are over built(Meaning how they use glass strips to tripple seal the bottom of the tank). Also their prices are Great! They also ship on their own truck, to a drop point very close to where you live! you just go and pick it up off the truck-and it cost only 60 bucks! So a 90 Long only costs $258.00 delivered and that includes Glass Tops! Hope this helps ya!

I agree with the Glasscages. I have 3 other All-Glass aquariums, but my 240g is glass cages. great price on the tank.

JiminIndy and Mandy21 if you dont mind me asking how long have you had the tanks from glasscages? The only reason I ask is that I was thinking about getting my next tank from them but then I read about alot of people having problems with their tanks. Any problems with yours? They do have good prices and good for me cause I live less than 2 hours from them.
