I'm looking for a "pokadot angel". I've never heard of it b4 now, and I'm not completely sure it exist under that name. If any one has ever heard of one, please see if you can find me a link, or pass on the scientific name of the fish for me. This is rather time sensitive, so a quick response would be great.
Thanks a million,

The only thing I can think of would be a "Keyhole Angel" aka Tibecan Angel. I haven't ever head of a polka dot angel either.

If you can provide a description it may help. I can't find any SW angels that are called polka dots. The closest is the polka dot batfish, which as an adult may be confused with an angel.

FishBase.org has lots of polkadot fish (batfish, groupers, even a polkadot squeaker, whatever that is), but no angels.

Thanks a bunch for the input. I belive I've been led on a wild goose chase here. But was curious at any rate. Perhaps it was a typo, or just plain ignorance that led me down this path......:)

A couple of thoughts--if you haven't seen the fish, it's possible that a store has decided to 'name' the fish to boost sales. Some fish that might be dubbed such: polka dot batfish, panther grouper, marine betta. The batfish, as an adult, has a similar shape to some angels--picture one that's vertically stretched and you can see the similarity; or, the marine betta. Definitely spotted, and it has the outline of an angel that's horizontally stretched.

I have also heard Batfish being referred to as Angels many times... It is not surprising given the shape of the juveniles
