I've come accross Saltwaterfish.com and noticed that they have free shiping for most of their live stock, which I found great. they also have 15 days guarantee on their live stock. It beats Dr. Foster and Smith I think. but did anyone ordered anything from Saltwaterfish.com and were you happy or not with the service?

you got me excited over free shipping but its on orders minimum of 79 bucks. I haven't used them before so I don't how they are but I've been looking at different online sellers for a few things but I don't want to spend 79$$$.

Their conditions are crazy...they want to run everything and do huge minimum purchases and what not. Even though I don't buy online I don't like the way they operate.

they are pretty good but they give bad info on the animals being sold so research the fish like crazy then if you order their inverts are shipped good same with their fish but i have never ordered coral from them

their info is a bit sketchy(or a stretch at best) but they have good products and will back the product up.
everything is sent next day(literally)
I have purchased ricordea corals , fish, inverts, cleaner crew ..etc.
while the free shipping sounds sketchy when you calculate how much overnite/next day is..it's not bad. and really if you are buying livestock, coral etc..it ads up fast.
I also had some fish arrive in not so good shape..notified them immediately..they credit your acct..
bad thing you need to meet the min to get the credit..

the shipping isn't "free", there's a $10 handling charge and $10 gas fee.
I've ordered from them before. Of course, it was a magnificent foxface that cost $140. Awesome fish. very healthy and was eating within hours of being introduced into the tank. my only complaint was that I had to chuck him in the main tank because I was doing drip acclimation in the styrofoam and somehow there was a gash in the styrofoam that had water go everywhere. The box was not damaged at all. Of course, I find it next to impossible to spend less than $79 on fish/corals lol.
I haven't purchased anything from them but had heard from others that were pleased with the services. As mentioned above the "free" shipping isn't exactly free as they charge other surcharges. I still think that you can still come out ahead.

I bought twice from them. Both times I bought the big boy reef package that included 100 astrea snails and 100 crabs for 109.00 shipped. They arrived alive. I also bought peppermint shrimp that were so small, they were fish food.
Since then, I found reeftopia.com. Much better pricing on snails and you don't have to buy the crabs to get the deal. I bought 300 astrea snails for 135 including shipping with no box or fuel surcharge.
I also bought from reefcleaners.com and while the prices were good, the snails were verrrrrry small. Not worth it in my opinion.

I bought 3 fish from them recently. While they do "sneak" the shipping on you (see the 2 10$ fees mentioned above) it is still much cheaper than other shipping I've seen. Plus, they just dropped their minimum order (around 30 dollars now I think) AND they just gave me a 10 dollar store credit for nothing!
My fish arrived alive and healthy. All ate immediately.
