I have some pregnant ghost shrimp in my community twenty gallon tank that seemed to have dropped their eggs. I just have a couple questions regarding the life cycle of the babies. I know a while back I saw some little shrimps floating upside down in my tank. The other day I noticed some very small white organisms crawling around within the gravel bed. Upon closer inspection, their bodies do resemble shrimps. Were the upside down floating shrimps truly the babies that hatch from the eggs, or are these little critters the real ghost shrimp babies?

the eggs hatch on mom, and she takes care of them for, maybe a day, then they swim off
