2 of my babies got stuck under the frame of the breeder net and the net and died :( So I want to let them out until later this week when I get my new fish. Will my peppered cory eat them?

Just keep an eye on them but I doubt the cories will do anything...they are too oblivious :D

Cories don't chase and eat fish around the surface and mid levels. They forage the bottom most of the time to be that focused on a fry swimming around them.

Well, before reading any of this, he gave one of them a little chase and I got scared- but I had to go to bed, so I didn't have time to catch all the babies. I caught the cory and plopped him in the breeder net... he was very upset, I'll let him out after school. He kinda looks stupid in that little net. lol. (he'll be ok)

Lexi, your cory just looking for someone to school with, he NEEDS friends. They live in huge shoals in the wild. Mine swim with shrimp sometimes.

I agree with that, 1 of them will be sad, I currently have 4 peppered cory cats and they all swim/play/eat together. Going to be adding 4 or 5 more in a few weeks to bring the numbers up.

You should try to get at least 3 more if you can.
