if i want to breed cory in a extra 20 Long i have, how should i set it up. i know i want a sponge filter and i will also have a small filter for water flow. i am wondering if i can hide the s. filter behind some java fern. i think i will get some small fish to as long as it doesn't effect the breeding. they don't have to look great although that would be nice, i just want something swimming towards the middle and top. does anyone know of any that would fit that description.

from page 4 are updates on the list, list is the link in the first post. All of these are small fish. Don't look at darters.

i have accidently breed my corys in my 55 gallon tank...i have done this buy adding in flourite and gravel in my tank with them still in it. they are used to rainy season to breed so the day before you fill up your tank over feed your corys and then the next day use a watering can and fill up the tank with water and it should stimulate rain causing them to breed then let the eggs harden in 24 hours then after they are hardened remove them asap so the corys dont eat them and same with other tank inhabitants. then keep the eggs in a seperate tank and also might want to dose anti fungal treatments because the eggs are really prone to fungus. thats all i can help you with i hope it helps
sorry for all the typing above lol
