I've got a Corallife II RO filter. I'm using teh faucet attachment fittings, but they are plastic and must be screwed in for each use and then unscrewed when the missus needs her sink.
I want to install a metal quick connect that will fit. Has anyone done this and what fittings did you buy that made it all work?
Thanks

If you find fittings let me know. I have looked all over because the supply line into the unit came loose from its plastic fitting. I went to all the home improvement stores and was unable to find anything. I did manage to rig it with a brass fitting and some crazy glue, but don't want this as my long term solution.

I just went thru that with my new stinking dishwasher. It's a portable. The fixture that came with it leaked like a sieve and all the replacement ones looked the same.
I went to the local hardware store where they had a $6 kit. It was a nozzle you screw into your fixture and a mating, white ringed female part that just clicks over the previously mentioned fitting. The other side of the female part is male hose thread. I used a few adapters and I was back in service for a few bucks and this thing doesn't drip or leak at all. It is also much easier to operate.
Because the male sink fitting is just sort of a small sculpted nozzle that would shoot out an unaerated stream. We bought a Faucet Queen rubber spray/stream thingy that we shove on the fixture when not using the dishwasher. We love it as you can have spray and point it around the sink.
Use this:

Beware if it's not a Faucet Queen it is a piece of garbage! Only buy a Faucet Queen.
It goes together like this picture.

Of course the male part has to fit your fixture spout correctly but there are several versions. Some for screwing directly onto the hose thread of some utility sinks if that's what you have.

That looks like exactly what I need, except for a 1" fitting. I found half of that at Lowes but couldn't find the remainder.
Thanks guys.

OK, so here's what I got to partially alleviate the problem.
1 Aerator to Male hose thread adapter
1 Brass adapter 3/4" Female Hose x 1/2" Male Pipe Swivel
1 Female Spout to Female Aerator (because I want brass fittings not the plastic the first item came with)
1 Brass hose adapter
**These are LASCO brand fittings, I have part numbers if you need them. I suggest you talk to a LOCAL (i.e. not chain) plumbing or hardware store as these guys know what they are doing and can adapt equipment to your set-up
This conglomeration of parts allows me to permanently attach a brass fitting to the sink faucet and a permanent swivel fitting (like a garden hose attachment) to the RO unit hose.
Now my wife can unscrew the the hose from the sink and we don't have to worry about breaking the plastic thread and getting leaks at high pressure.
