??Quiet air pumps??

I'm not a big fan of air pumps, but the Rena models are the quietest I've heard. They are significantly quieter than any other I've owned.

Rena's and tetraTec are the quietest.

I have a Rena and a Tetra Tec and they are both quiet. Although I would have to say the Rena is a little quieter.

whatever you do dont buy the one with a little fish on it, the words '50 gallon', and 2 air outlets. wish i could remember where i got it, maybe walmart. there is no brand on it but it buzzes like a chainsaw. thought i could use it on my patio tank but it still drove me nuts. i will try to sell it at a yard sale to somebody who is hearing impaired.

i have an apollo thats quieter than my tetratec but i dont think it pushes as much air.
