I just received a package of snails today and they were packed in a bunch of this plant. I threw some on it into the tank, but I don't want to leave it there if it's not aquatic.

Not the same guppy grass I had before. Guppy grass is much thinner.

looks more like onion plant than guppy grass.

im not sure but when i had micro sword, pieces broke off and floated and grew on the surface and looked like that

Its not guppy grass(najas guadalupensis) for sure.

I see no root structures, otherwise I would say needle leaf microsword.

I'm not familiar with this plant, but it's not guppy grass.

Just got a reply from the guy who shipped me the snails. It's not aquatic. It's Spanish Moss.

It's an airplant which draws moisture from the air, which is why he uses it to ship his snails.
