Sameone who know this coral. I kept this carol year ago. It open only at night exspeacially during light low or off. Sorry picture blurrr.....:headbang2:

Possibly a sponge, but hard for anyone to be sure without a clear pic.

Looks like an orange gorgonian, although I never knew they came in that color. Perhaps a sponge also as stated above...definitely not photosynthetic whatever it is

Looks like one of the non-photosynthetic nephtheid corals, like Dendronephthya or Scleronephthya. Many of these corals are often called "chili corals."

i agree, it seemed like it had white polyps in the first few pics, is that correct?

My guess is sponge.

I agree with Amphiprion and Germanman. When it blooms, white tentacles appear. I will post a photo later. My camera out of battery. Sorry....
