hi i have finnally decided what i want. i want a fire belly newt. ive done the reasearch and am going to convert a 10 gal. im probrably gonna get 2 of them, so i found me a website that sold them for a reasonable price. so what im asking is is www.hahareptiles.com a reliable place to get my newts? id hate to order them and get sick or dead ones.

If they take paypal, it's a generally good sign that they are reliable. At least in as much as you can use it as a medium to resolve disputes. Checking their paypal ratings will also show if there are any serious issues.

The web site says $200 minimum order. It also says wholesale only. Did they offer to sell you just two newts? Make sure you have plenty of places for the newts to hide. They will fight because they don't care for company. Beware that paddletail newts often get sold as fire bellies. Good luck

I've never heard of them, nor did I find them on Fauna. The BOI on Fauna is a great way to find out about different places, and stop you from purchasing from people that will screw you:

thanks guys i didnt realize it said wholesale and that their was a min order. crap. well im tring to find a place that has cheap chinese fire belly newts and is reliable
