VERY cheap and easy to do you need

sugar
bi carb soda
2 liter bottle
hose
1 way valve (something out of an air stone will work but dont use an airstone the c02 wrecks them)

there is demo video on youtube i will try find the link for you

So nice of you for the reply But I need to know is it gud for 8 Gallon tank or may it make more for my tank ??

Thanks for the link on the DIY reactor. I too am interested in those but have been a tad nervous about doing it.
Does the DIY reactor stay "on" all the time or do you take it out? Is there a minimum of watt per gallon that needs to be or if you have low light can it be used as well? I think I have 1.5watts per gallon so low light for me. Would I have to get a stronger light? I saw something like a glass diffuser...is that used in place of that wood stone the video had?
Sorry to hijack but didn't think a seperate thread would be useful.

TO the OP way back when I first started my 5G people told me as long as you can regulate the amount of CO2 in the tank there should be no problem.
