I just recently asked about cories with Africans, and I know the answer is no.

I was wondering about the relatively peaceful neolamprologus gracilis, and four or five otos in the tank with them.

I have never had either Brian but I've been surprised at what africans will put up with. The question is how much interaction there would be between them so I suppose tank size comes into it.

Are the otos not a bit fussy about water requirements ?

I'd be interested as to how you got on.

One word, NO. The oto's aren't suited to the water conditions the gracilis prefer, and after a few spawns any other fish will be toast.
