I've had this one particular Cichlid for about 8 months now, picked him up from the LFS who had him labeled as a "Jellybean Cichlid". I have doubts that's what he is actually called so i've come to you guys about it. And another note, i'm looking at building my own fish tank (I understand that it's costing about as much, if not more, as just a regular store bought tank), mostly for the fun of building something. I was thinking about 3 feet high, and square by a foot and a half. I calculated how many gallons this was early but have already forgotten lol But I want to design this tank for some Angelfish mostly, perhaps some other tank mates if you guys (and girls) could suggest any. Mostly i'm just wondering on what types of substrate, live plants, and any decor (Rocks and such) they would like. Any other thoughts or suggestions on this Angel tank i'm thinking of would be appreciated.
