There is no audio, video hook-ups??? Is there maybe one of those "door" things on the front or along the bottom that it may be hidden in?

If you have no AV jacks, usually the video is yellow, and the audio's are red and white then you only have an antenna input (RF). Unless the TV is as old as me, it has a coxial RF input, which looks like a threaded stud protruding from the TV.

In this case either you can connect a VCR with an Rf output, and then connect the DVD player to the Aux input of the VCR, or you'll have to get an RF Modulator for the DVD player, whick will then work on your TV channed 3 or 4..

Make sense?

okay, so i have a coxial RF input. the DVD player i have is a VCR too, but it doesnt work with just that 1 chord that plugs into the coxial RF input on the TV.

Go to a local Radio Shack or electronics store and buy a Rf modulator for a DVD player. There real easy to hook up,walmart even has them here..But getting an employee who knows what your talking about is rare at wallyworld..

I have a combo DVD/VCR. It should have an RF output.
There is usually a selector switch or button that will let you choose to use the DVD player or the VCR. Most all of them have the default set to the VCR. You do not have to connect the RF, and AV outputs both...

i feel stupid! i had the chord thing connected to the right thing(the only thing) on the tv, but the wrong thing on the DVD/VCR.. i had it on the "input" one instead of "RF out" one :duh:
