Hi All,

Starting a Freshwater Aquarium again....my last one was many moon's ago when I was 15.

I bought a 28 gallon bow front starter kit and am slowly conducting my research in the "aqua world".

I figure about a month before I have my first set of fishies in the tank.

Lot's to learn....again.

great idea! I started back into fish keeping about 3 years ago and did not have an aqaurium for 12 years. I realized how much enjoyment I was losing out on. Good Luck!
 
Yeh...no more dogs or cats any longer. I wanted some fish.....less grief when they go.

what kind of filter came with the starter kit?

I love aquariums. i had one when i was 9, the fish died and never got another till late last year. now i have a 55 gallon and a 10 gallon (and soon to have a 20 long to replace the 10).

It is a Top Fin .30....I'm gonna go with an undergravel filter and an external charcoal pump. I understand I'll clean it once every few month with the external rather once a week for the filter it came with.
