So, the last time I brought home a betta with a tank (14g), I was told..."NO, more surprise "rescue" tanks and fish"...in this little speech I received was a "whatever" moment of "I though women were suppose to bring home things that were cute and cuddly anyway"! Well, now isn't this CUTE, and she is CUDDLY!!! Well, needles to say I am still in "the dog house" or I guess it would be the "cat house" in this case. BLAH, BLAH...whatever right! So anyway on my way home this little kitten was just laying in the road, I thought it had been hit or something since she didn't move as I got closer to her. So I stopped the truck, cause well...I couldn't just leave it there in the middle of the road, just figured I'd at least move it to the side where it wasn't going to get hit over and over. So I pulled to the side, pushed the seat up and grabbed the gloves that are behind it, went over and to my surprise she was alive and had not been hit...there were no houses close by (this was in the country) and she meowed at me, that was it my heart melted and I brought her home. I'm going to take her for a check up and see what shots she should get...not sure how old she is, but her eyes look to of just changes as there is still a hint of gray to them so she is young. So I get home and get the speech...we don't need another cat, why would you bring this home...blah, blah, blah (yeah..in one ear and out the other kinda stuff) I was like but she was going to get ran over and just look at her she is SOOOOOO cute, well by this time my girls have seen it and it turns into..."PLEASE DAD, Please, please, please" (you get the pic) so well we now have a new kitten....her name (don't ask me why my girls decided on this one) is Violet.
