apart from my 200gal. housing my 2 red oscars & 2 albino oscars, & I wanted to know: What kind of cichlids can I keep in there? (in my 30gal.) I'd prefer oscars... what kind of oscars would fit?

No Oscars will fit for their entire life span.

NO OSCARS in a 30g
maybe something smaller like a JD or like a con or firemouth

I'd say that JDs are pushing it. The suggestions made in the General CW thread are still the only recommendations (besides shellies) that I would make for that size tank and that hard of water...

i didnt know she had hard water. but yea only 1 JD would be in ther and that is pushing it i know.
she could put a hand full of kribs in there too.

R/O filter or deionization filtration...or just buy distilled water and mix it with tap water.
