anyone ever use a hole saw with a pilot bit attached to drill a tank?

You need a special diamond bit whole saw and low speed drill. You also need to make sure the glass is not tempered as a lot of glass tanks are on the bottom.

Maybe I should rephrase the question. The arbor is a drill bit{Masonry, Glass} and was wanting to know to use or not to use?
