I just got another snail (making a total of a whopping 2) And they are both apple snail varients) and my older one is in a corner, digging a hole...Anyone know why?

its just what snails do. its probably just looking for some food.
it isnt for spawning; they lay eggs above the surface of the water

LOL mine did it trying to get to the surface (dug up a few plants)
