So I made a thread about getting some cories earlier in the week and I got some today! I got 5 pandas for my 10 gallon which houses a betta. They are the cutest little buggers :)

I took a couple pictures but I forgot to clean the glass so I'm only showing you two pictures. Hopefully tomorrow I'll clean the glass and then take some better pictures :D!!!

These are my first FW fish other than bettas, I'm used to my salties, lol. I usually name all my fish but these guys look all the same, how do you name FW fish? There is one little runt that is smaller than the others so maybe I'll name him :D

Oh and the Betta Zeus doesn't seem to mind the company thus far but I'm watching him.

They are all around 3/4ths of an inch, the little one is probably 1/2 an inch.

How often should I feed them?

Very cute. I feed my corys once, sometime twice a day with an occassional fast day. They adore thawed frozen bloodworms for a treat once or twice a week. Watch for the worms to come out the gills, I always find it funny.

Nice specimens! Coincidentally, I plan to get a small group of pandas for my 10g next weekend. Fingers crossed they're still in the store. :perv:

Feeding: frozen or freeze-dried worms are good for a treat, and you can also give them a bottom feeder pellet or two as a staple.

Names: Maybe you can name the group as a whole (e.g., "Josie and the Pandacats"), or given them individual names based on a group. The four Japonica shrimp in my tank are named for the Marx Brothers: Groucho, Harpo, Chico, and Zeppo. :)

Great cories! :)

I don't really name my fish unless you count me calling my Gold Gourami "goldy" or my Raphael Cat "Ralph". Guess I'm lazy &/or unimaginative.

I was so excited to get home from work today so I could look at them, they are such the cuties!! :D

Reefscape, you are very right, lol. I thought of that after I looked at the pictures.

I have some bloodworms thawed out so I will feed some of those tonight. I also bought some of those sinking wafers :D

Heh, I'm following in his footsteps as well, I haven't cleaned my glass in months....soon to be years if I'm as good as he is.

Thanks everyone :D I posted better (and cleaned glass) pictures of them in the photo section.

I fed them a sinking wafer last night and they liked it. I tried bloodworms too but they didn't eat those.

With the bloodworms should I cut them into small pieces, or leave them long and whole? I left them whole and they didn't seem to care for them.
