I just finished working on the tank last week and today added my new panda cories. Don't worry, tank is already cycled. I have Schultz Aquatic Soil in back with smooth rock gravel on top as it is quite light.

I don't think I'm going to put anything else. Maybe just make it a panda cory home??

Pretty pandas.
How many are in the tank, and how big is it?

Well, this one is a 10 gal tank, I currently have 5 in this tank and another 5 in a different 29 gal community tank with no bottom dwellers at all.

Your tank looks really nice, too. I like the sand and the larger pebbles together.

Love pandas! Ive just changed my 75g over to real plants and not sure why but they seem to love it. More active/playful than they were before - they are always on the go - I might have to get me some more!

Thanks! I picked up this tank used for only $5 and it came with strip light! I just added the aquatic soil, sand, pebbles, mopani and some plants and... viola! I love decorating tanks!

That's what I'm hoping! Do you think I can maybe put 1 or 2 more in there? Currently housing 5. I do weekly water changes on all my tanks and try to keep everything nice and clean.

I don't think I'd have the discipline to have a tank with only one kind of fish in it. I love variety too much. I'm getting ready to set a 20 gallon up this week and I have to keep telling myself to slow down, it's only a 20 gallon......

I know... I'm usually that way too. I do have a community tank with a bunch of little fishies. My angels are with my plecos and pristella tetras and cories. I now have a 10 gal shrimp tank and I'd like to have this other 10 gal a panda cory tank. They seem to act different when they are in their own tank, vs. a community tank. Maybe it's my imagination??!

I would probably add just one. That would give you something like 15 `inches' of fish in a 10 gallon when they are full grown. Pretty heavy stocking but they like each other's company. Six sounds like a nice little community without pushing your luck too far.

omg they have to be so fun to watch! i have 10 assorted in my 55. i have a trio of emerald (brochis splendens) that im hoping will breed. theyve been "snuggly" lately. the female finally grew bigger than the two males making it easier to differentiate them.
