Has anyone fed carrots to mbuna's?

Also how do you prep the carrot?

I haven't fed carrots to my mbuna but i don't see why you couldn't, I feed it to my plecos.

If i were to prepare it for my mbuna i would probably steam it untill it was quite soft and either tie it to a rock and throw it in or kind of mash it between my fingers and drop it in. I do the mushing with my fingers thing when i feed peas and it works great.
