The lfs I go to treats all new fish with copper. Anyone have any idea how long fish should stay in copper to have full potential for treatment of any bugs?

Depending on how high of a concentrated dose and the flow, a week could be overkill...
What do they do for invertebrates and other fish that are highly sensitive to copper treatment?
