Yesterday I made a DIY CO2 with a 2 litter bottle and a 20oz bottle. Since then I have made 3 different batches of yeast water. All three batches I have boiled the water (2 cups) mixed in the sugar (2 cups) let that cool to room temp in the bottle. Then mixed the yeast (1/4 tsp) with luke warm water (1/4 cup) let that ferminte for 10 min. till there was a film on the top of the water and then mixed that into the sugar water. The first batch I waited about an hour and had no bubbles so I dumped it out and made a second batch. The second batch I let sit over night. I thought maybe the yeast was dead so I picked up some new yeast on my way home and made a third batch, this has now been in for about 2 hrs and still no bubbles. What am I doing wrong? Please help.
P.S. I got the recipe from here http://www.qsl.net/w2wdx/aquaria/diyco2.html#5
