hello all,

i am getting my tank on wednesday it is a juwel rekord 96.

the only question i now have is: is a fish in or fishless cycle better?

Fishless. No fish is harmed or permanently damaged by toxic substances such as ammonia and nitrites.

Fishless, unless you can do a media transfer from an existing healthy system and slowly stock up the tank.

get some used media from an established tank to help speed up the cycle.
