Hello everyone,
If I order an Eshopps overflow box, PF-800, and it has a 1 inch bulkhead what size hose do I need to buy to get the water to the fuge? 1 inch or 1 1/4 inch? Not sure if 1 inch refers to i.d. or o.d.
:help:

I believe the bulkheads with the overflows from EShopps are slip fit. For that, you'll need a few inches of 1" PVC. a 1" slip x FPT fitting, a 1" MPTxBarb fitting, and 1" ID hose. You cement the pvc to the bulkhead, the female adapter to the pvc, screw the barb fitting into the female adapter (using PTFE tape) then slip the hose onto the barb fitting.

I must be thinking of a different brand, it looks like those have the short PVC pipe attached to the bulkhead already. In that case you'll just need the female adapter and the barb fitting.

You rock Sploke!! Can't find the sizes I need at the DRs place. How about slip to MPT, then FPT to Barb? That should work the same way with the recommended few inches of PVC bridging the gap to this right?

Yes, it doens't matter if you use a slip x FPT and then MPTx barb, or slip x MPT then FPT to barb. Same end result.
