I only have 2 otos in my 30 gallon tank....today one of them is absolutely HUGE! I swear I can see stretch marks!! Is it possible that she is gravid? I know it is difficult to breed them in captivity but this one has a gigantic belly! It would be quite comical if I was not concerend about it!

Sorry but no pics- it will not stay still long enough!

I'm thinking it's well fed and happy. My larger Oto looks like that about once a week when she gets hungry for the algae wafers... it sounds like good news for you, but in the sense that she's healthy and wellfed, and they can sometimes be stingy eaters...

I have had otos reproduce in my tank. However, I didn't realize until I did a water change, so I do not know what a pregnant oto looks like, just that it is possible to have them breed without even trying.

Watch it closely. I've had (and read of others) with Otos that get the "preggo" look only to die within a week or so. Don't know what the cause is, but mine's stomach got so large that it would "teeter" on leaves.
