I wonder how much ammonia etc comes from snails compared to fish etc?
Does anybody know?

Also will bristlenose pleco's eat red cherry shrimp fry?

Which kind of snails? Adult pomacea bridgesii (Mystery snails) require about 2.5g of tank spare for their bioload. They graze and poop all day long basically.

One mystery snail will create about the same amount of waste as, say, a 2-3 inch goldfish.

they poop machine and still should be counted to housing..the bn wont eat or chase the shrimetts as there veggies, but if it small enough to fit in its mouth (by accident) then that would be a yes .
