i just had to kill a goldfish due to extreme fin rot
i might half to put down my black more, one of his arms are not working
god what is going on...i dont have a test kit right now....
ahhhhhhhhhhhh
i just did a water change
We need the test results if the main cause for this must be nailed. Why can't you get the API liquid test kit? How often and how much water is replaced? The arm in question is called 'pectoral fin' just for future reference. Sorry to hear about your goldies.

i will break down and get one asap
More information you mentioned in chat..
Tank size: 10 (I believe this is meant to be a hospital tank.)
Maintenance: 50% water replaced every other day.
Water parameters: Unknown; Test strips used by petstore.
Temperature: 78 degrees Fahrenheit
Foods: Omega One
Treatment: 1 tablespoon per 5g of salt and Rid-Ich Kordon
Main problems: Ich, finrot
Comments:
Again, get the API test kit and test the water yourself because you cannot just trust your store to tell you the results are 'perfect'. Feeding is inadequate. The temperature must be lowered to 74-76. Your case is bacterial infection with extreme finrot in question. Bacterial infections tend to progress better in warm temperature.
Edit:
More information...
The goldies apparently have ich so this is a mixed infection. Treat fish for 14 days with salt only and no temperature increase at this rate. Do daily water changes and dose salt the amount of water replaced.
Lupin, you nailed it as I posted?
Was going to ask the same thing about treatments, why no use of antibiotic instead?

Riiz, I had to keep editing as more information was poured by A in the chatroom. His case has ich. I'd treat for ich first while doing water changes at the moment to stop finrot from progressing. The problem is we cannot obtain water parameter results until he gets the kit I asked him to.

Hope your fish get better. How did you "put down" the goldie?

so do i kill the goldies or what?
No.
They'll be fine if you continue to maintain water parameters and get a bigger tank.
