Im making plans for my next big tank. I want to get a nice un-common cichlid and so I have been perusing Jeff Rapps site (he has a great alpahbetical photo gallery listed by scientific name)
anway here is what i have come up with and I would like your opinions on each of the fish, or if you have had any experience with them. I would be planning on getting a 55 or better and trying to establish a breeding pair.
archocentrus Sajica (http://www.tangledupincichlids.com/images/sajica.pair.jpg)
Nandopsis Bartoni (http://www.tangledupincichlids.com/images/bart.female.jpg)
Nandopsis Tetracanthus (http://www.tangledupincichlids.com/images/tetracan.jpg)
Parachromis Loisellei (http://www.tangledupincichlids.com/images/loisellei.male.jpg)
Viega fenestratus (http://www.tangledupincichlids.com/images/fenest.male.jpg)
thats as far as I have gotten so far. They all seem to require similar water chemistry. I really want a fish that will fill up the tank I have (which ever size I end up with) without looking cramped.
anyway please tell me what you think and any experiences!
