Looking for some stocking advice for my 20g. I do plan to add maybe 2 more harlequins. After that can I add some cories (and how many) or is it at its stocking limit? See my sig for the tank contents. I plan on getting rid of all 6 red cherry barb fry.

Just in case I wasn't clear in my original post, my main concern is with tank load/capacity and not fish compatibility. I know cories are compatible with the fish I currently have. I just want to make sure I'm not overloaded.

What kind do I want? Haven't really given it a lot of thought. I'm pretty sure I don't want to the albinos but those seem to be the most common around here. I do like the pandas but I think I'll get whatever I can find at my lfs.

i wouldnt add anything else to that tank. you already have two schools of fish (after adding the rasboras), and then the cherry barbs once they get bigger.

The cherry barb are not staying. But yes I do have rasboras and neon tetras. So my contents before adding cories would be as follows:

6 neon tetra
6 harlequin rasbora
3 fancy guppies (male only)
? red cherry shrimp

So could I add cories to that, and if so how many?

I wouldn't add cories to that simply because of the shrimp. Cories won't hurt them, but they do dominate the bottom and may stress the shrimp or make them hide more than usual.

If this is a standard 20G I would go with 4 Corys. Should be a good number for your peaceful tank. Or you could go with 8 Pygmy Corys if they are available.
