I picked it up from my LFS, reading that it was an aquatic plant. "Not so," says plantgeek.com. Is it, or is it not, a true aquatic plant?

Everything I read says it has trouble adapting but that doesn't mean it can't. Might just take longer for submersed growth to show or it will die. Just take care to not bury the rhizome and cross your fingers.

I have 2 in one of my tanks, and they are putting out good root growth (already well attached to the driftwood) and a few new leaves under just over 1 watt of light, so I think yours will be fine.

It's in great condition, so I won't be worried. However, I didn't know how much of the rhizome should be uncovered, and in my endeavor to make sue it didn't die I uncovered the entire root system. It can't be seen easily in my tank, but it's still a bit annoying.
